Apple AirPods are available for free on the purchase of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini in India. The Cupertino-based giant is offering the earbuds to customers who purchase either of the two smartphones as a part of the festive offer. Moreover, The free AirPods offer will start from October 7th and end on November 4th this year. In addition, it is listed and valid only on the Apple India Store page. However, it’s worth noting that the promotion will run until stocks last. 

Apple offering free AirPods on iPhone 12 or 12 Mini

Apple hasn’t revealed which generation AirPods it is offering for free on the purchase of iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Mini. However, if you take a closer look at the festive offer promotion card, the device seems to be AirPods and not AirPods Pro. It’s unclear whether Apple is offering first or second-generation AirPods. Both the TWS offerings come with the same design but different specifications and features. 

The second-generation AirPods debuted way back in 2019 and come with an H1 chip and improved connectivity. Moreover, they also feature support for the Siri voice assistant. The device is claimed to offer 5 hours of talk time on a single charge. And 24 hours of usage with the charging case. In addition, the second-generation AirPods come with wireless charging. And is priced at Rs 18,900 while the same device with a standard charging case costs Rs 14,900. 

Meanwhile, Apple recently permanently slashed the prices of the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12. The former starts at Rs 59,900 for the base 64GB variant . While the 128GB and 256GB options costs Rs 64,900 and Rs 74,900. As for the standard model, it retails at Rs 65,900, Rs 70,900 and Rs 80,900 for 64GB, 128GB and 256GB configurations respectively. Both the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini feature an OLED display with a boxy form factor. They come with a 12MP front snapper and 12MP + 12MP rear cameras. The smartphones are powered by Apple A14 Bionic processor.
