iQOO is now all set to launch its iQOO 8 series in India under the moniker iQOO 8 Legend. Moreover, there are also reports suggesting that the company is now working on iQOO 9 series. This was confirmed when one of the iQOO 9 variant was on the IMEI database. In addition, before iQOO 9 series, the company will bring the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Legend in India.

iQOO 8 Legend India arrival confirmed via IMEI database

Vivo sub brand iQOO is now gearing up to introduce iQOO 8 Legend in the country. Moreover, the device appears on the IMEI database hinting at its imminent launch. The device was on the listing with model number iQOO I2017. In addition, previously, the same model was on the TUV Rheinland certification website. However, the listing doesn’t reveal the launch dates, but its hints that it is upcoming smartphone from the company in India.

Moreover, the report suggest that the upcoming iQOO 8 Legend is the rebrand version of the iQOO 8 Pro came in China. Thus, we may expect the specifications to be somewhat same as that of the iQOO 8 Pro. That means, the iQOO 8 Legend may arrive with Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12 LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration. In addition, the device will get Android 11 OS with an OriginOS. The upcoming device may have a 6.78 inches AMOLED display with 1440×3200 pixel QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the front panel has a punch hole housing 16MP front camera sensor. The device is said to arrive with 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
