Moto G50 is now getting a new variant with the codename ‘Saipan’. There were official-looking images of this variant shared by the reliable tipster on Twitter. The Moto G50 with codename Ibiza will have 5G connectivity and a Snapdragon 480SoC is launching earlier this year in European markets. The image of the Moto G50 5G Sapian variant hints that the upcoming variant may intend to be in different global markets. Moreover, the design of both the Motorola smartphones seems to be identical, but they may have differences in housings for the camera and fingerprint scanner.
According to the leaks of the official image of the Sapian variant shows that there is a slight difference in design as that of the Moto G50 5G came in March. As per the reports, the new variant Saipan will have a waterdrop-style display notch for the selfie camera. Moreover, the bezel on the three sides of the display is thick with an even thicker chin. Additionally, the right side of this phone will have a voice assistant button, a volume rocker. And a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. However, the size of the display is still a mystery yet. Furthermore, the back of the upcoming Sapian variant may get a triple camera in a square housing. It will have a 48MP Quad primary camera. There are two supporting lenses that are not verified yet. The Phone will get a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port with a speaker grille. Moreover, there is no mention of the full specifications of this Sapian variant Moto G50 5G.
