Realme GT Series is the new Realme X series; Says Madhav Sheth

Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition, and the Master Explorer Edition are going to launch in India on 18th August. And right before the launching dates in the country, Madhav Sheth, Vice President of Realme India and Europe shares some information regarding the brand. Madhav sheth in his tweet shared that the brand Realme X will be replaced by the upcoming Realme GT series. His tweet reads that ‘ The X will be replaced by the GT; So the GT is the new X’. While the other smartphone series from the brand will not be impacted by the GT series launch. Thus, this marks the end of the road for the Realme X series.

The Realme X series primarily operated in the affordable mid-range to upper mid-range price category and offered some interesting and great value for money offerings in the past. Moreover, in the past few years, the Realme X series produced some impressive and popular mid-range handsets like Realme X2 Pro, Realme X3 Superzoom Edition, Realme X7 Pro, and many more.

Considering the offerings of the Realme X series, the Realme GT series seems to offer the same ethos as the Realme X series. However, there are possibilities that the brand is ditching its previous flagship to make space for the new Realme GT series.
