Samsung starts an artificial intelligence, machine learning, and engineering lab at the KLE Technological University in Karnataka, Hubballi. Moreover, with this setup now Indian talent will get a platform to work on research. And thus, out case their innovative ideas.

According to the company report, students and faculty members of the Samsung Ecosystem for Engineered Data (SEED) Lab at KLE will now work on the research. Moreover, they will work on joint research and development projects along with engineers at Samsung R&D Institute. These students will get to learn from experienced engineers who work in the domains of mobile camera tech. Also in speech and text recognition, and machine learning.

In an statement by Dipesh Shah, MD of Samsung R&D Institute, Banglore, he says that India is a repository of Young Millenials and Gen Z talent. At Samsung, we envision this lab to become a hub of young minds igniting India’s innovation ecosystem. Moreover, build capabilities among students to make them industry-ready as well as promote industry-academia collaboration. In addition, he says this step will further commit to Samsungs vision of Powering Digital India.

Moreover, the projects will be for the third and fourth-year B.Tech and M.Tech students and Ph.D. scholars at KLE university. Students will receive certificates for their contribution and hard work at the end of each project from SRI-B.

The Samsung SEED lab is a great initiative that gives the student the opportunity to learn and work under SRI-B engineers on research projects that address the issues facing the world”
