Tecno has launched Tecno Camon 17 series in India last month. However, the series was initially released in May 2021 in home country. Tecno Camon 17 is performed well with 6.8-inch HD IPS display. And it features a Helio G8 paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB stoarge. The device also came with 8GB variant with Pro model. Now, the company is grearing up to launch Techno Camon 18 series. The device is said to appear on the Geekbench listing. The listing reveals three model numbers that suggest that the series will have a Tecno Camon 18, Tecno Camon 18 Pro with 6GB and 8GB variants.

Tecno Camon appears on Geekbench and other certification websites

According to Twitter report by Passionategeekz, Techno Camon 18 series appears on the Geekbench hinting the imminent launch. Moreover, the listing reveals few key specs of the phone. But not the complete details. The certification websites has model numbers Tecno CH6, Tecno CH6N, and Tecno CH7N. The listing reveals that the phone will feature MediaTek Helio G88 processor with 6GB RAM. In addition, the device will run on Android 11 out of the box. The device Techno CH6 scores 1466 single-core score and 3728 multi-core score in the Geekbench test.

The reports also suggested that Tecno Camon 18 series bags the FCC certification this month. This listing reveals the rear look of the device which seems to be similar to Camon 17 series. Moreover, the device retains side mounted fingerprint for quick unlocking. Furthermore, the FCC database confirms the presence of 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and 33W support for Pro model. The image also reveals that the branding ‘Tecno Camon’ shifts to lower right with smaller size.

The report suggest that the device will feature a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS Dot Display with 3.5D curved glass and 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with MediaTek Helio G88 paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. In addition, in terms of camera specs. the phone will feature 64MP primary shooter with 16MP selfie camera. The leaks also hints that the phone will come in three colors. But there is no mentioning of the colors name.
