Xiaomi is working to bring on premium flip smartphones after launching the Xiaomi 12 series. The company is also ready to bring the Xiaomi 12 Ultra soon. Moreover, now Xiaomi is working on clamshell foldable device similar to that of Samsung Flip 3 with Clamshell like folding design. However, there is no word from the company yet regarding the upcoming device. But, there are patent images of the upcoming Xiaomi Flip foldable device surfacing on CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) website.

Xiaomi Flip Phone images via CNIPA

The company is prepping up to bring the Xiaomi Flip Phone in China and global market very soon. Moreover, the upcoming device will compete in market against the successful Galaxy Z Flip 3. In addition, there are patent images of the upcoming device surfacing with the courtesy of CNIPA listing revealing how it may look. As per the images, the Xiaomi Flip Phone gets horizontal strip on rear panel and camera module same as that of Google Pixel 6 series. Additionally, the device has three circular cutouts, one of which will be for LED flash light. Thus, hinting that this premium device will get dual rear camera setup. However, there are no details regarding the camera lenses at the moment.

Moreover, the image suggest that the right side will have volume button. And USB port, speaker grille alongwith SIM tray will be on bottom side. In addition, the image doesn’t show any cutouts on the foldable custom. It hints that the company may use Camera under panel (CUP) technology as same as that in Mix Fold.
