Micromax re-entered the Indian smartphone arena last year with the introduction of the In Note 1. The In Note 1 initially launches at a price of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant. And Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+128GB model. Moreover, Micromax went back and forth with the pricing of the base variant of the In Note 1. And for a brief period of time had hiked the price to Rs 11,499 in May. After which it reverted back to its original sticker price. Now, the homegrown company has announced a price cut of Rs 1,500 . Thus, bringing the Micromax In Note 1 price in India down to Rs 9,499.
The Micromax In Note will be available with a Rs 1,500 price cut on Flipkart from October 3rd. In addition, the company is also offering an additional 10 percent discount of up to Rs 1,500 to ICICI and Axis Bank credit card users. However, it is unclear whether this is a permanent price cut or a limited period offer for the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.
The device gets power from a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz and ARM G52 MC2 GPU. Moreover, this processor couples with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. In addition, it features a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400) punch-hole display. The panel has 395ppi and glows up to 440 nits of brightness. Furthermore, the In Note 1 gets a quad-camera set up at the back which consists of a 48MP primary camera. Along with a 5MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Upfront there is a 16MP selfie shooter.
Moreover, the device also packs in a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The smartphone packages a Type C port, support for dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, as well as a dedicated Google Assistant key. The Micromax In Note 1 weighs in at 195g and runs on Android 10 out of the box.
