Realme launches the Realme GT Master 5G in India and was going to launch GT Master Explorer Edition as well. But, now news seems to be not in the favor of Indian Users. Moreover, the news says that the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition will not arrive in India. The CMO of Realme India, Francis Wong reveals through his Twitter post that it will not come to India while responding to the query regarding Realme GT Master Explorer Edition.

The information has caused disappointment among the followers of the brand. However, there are many reasons why Realme has chosen not to launch one of its most premium phones in India. The key reason might be the upcoming launch of the OnePlus 9RT. With more users considering the premium smartphone market, the OnePlus 9RT is the flagship-grade that fits the premium mid-ranger list. Moreover, the rumors suggest that the OnePlus 9RT is exactly the same as the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. The only difference is the branding and the few design changes.

Realme GT Master Explorer Edition specification details

The Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, along with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ Certifications. Moreover, talking about Camera units, it features a triple rear camera. The back camera includes 50MP Primary lens with 16MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro units. Whereas, the front camera bears 32MP selfie sensors. In addition, the phone houses a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Above that, the phone has extra features such as under-display, optical fingerprint sensors, and many more. All these features are near identical to that of the OnePlus 9RT. Thus, it’s clear now why Realme would have taken such a decision not to launch Realme GT Master Explorer Edition in India.
