OnePlus is launching its T series phones for the past few years. The premium One Plus T series devices typically come with minor upgrades and updates in the model. These OnePlus devices usually launch during the second half of the year. This time rumors suggest that the OnePlus next phones, OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will not get a T version. Instead, there are rumors suggesting that OnePlus may launch the OnePlus 9 RT this year, a refresh version of 9R. According to reports, the company would launch 9 RT in October 2021. However, there are no official announcements yet.
OnePlus 9RT leaked specifications
According to Android Central reports, the OnePlus new series OnePlus 9RT will have Android 12 based Oxygen OS 12. However, the company has not released the new skin for its current flagship models yet. There are rumors that the new Android skin may get unveiled in the coming weeks. Moreover, it will have features like floating windows, new privacy features, and a theme store. The Oppofication of Oxygen Os will continue as Oxygen OS 12 brings ColorOs password-protected private safe and other features. The upcoming OnePLus skin does not have Google’s Material You design. And according to reports, it is similar to Oxygen OS 11.3
Talking about 9RT phone specs, It will have a 120Hz AMOLED display like the current 9R. In addition, it will feature the same 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The report claims that the 9RT will get a higher-binner version of the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Moreover, the camera will have major upgrades. It will feature a 50MP Sone IMX766 camera like the OnePlus 9 series. And, it will use the sensor for the primary camera same as the OnePlus Nord 2. The report suggests that this new device will debut only in India and China. There are also hints that two new Nord phones may also get launch. But, there are no details regarding this.
