Realme is launching its new Realme 8 series that includes Realme 8i and Realme 8s. This information was by the Company CEO Madhav Sheth last week. Now, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth tweets on this Twitter handle asking users if they want the brand to launch an industry-first smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. However, he has not mentioned any name of the smartphone using this processor. Alongside this, the company announces another chipset with Dimensity 920 SoC yesterday. Moreover, the leaks and specifications along with this tweet confirm that indeed the phone would be Realme 8s which will have Dimensity 810 processor.
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth shared the Twitter post where MediaTek India is unveiling its new 810 chipsets. The Tweet reads ‘ unveiling the #MediaTekDimensity 810 chip that redefines the #5G smartphones experience, with boosted performance, brilliant imaging, and smarter display. It features high-end camera capabilities like AI color and advanced noise reduction techniques.’
Expected specifications of Realme 8s
The Realme 8s is expected to be powered by Dimensity 810 SoC that is based on 6nm architecture with Cortex A-76 cores at 2.4 GHz. Moreover, the smartphone will have 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. The Realme 8s will have a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the leaks suggest that the device may have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. And, the camera module may have 64MP quad sensors. The smartphone reportedly has a 16MP front-facing snapper. In terms of connectivity, we expect the Realme 8s to have 5G connectivity, WiFi-6, and Bluetooth 5.2. Furthermore, it is expected to be supported by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging and a Type-c port. However, these details are not confirmed. But, looking at the leaks and reports, we expect all these features to be in Realme 8s.
