The Redmi 10 Prime Indian variant is spotted at the IMEI database. Since last week, Xiaomi is teasing the arrival of the Redmi 10 mid-range phone for the global markets. Moreover, Tipster Mukul Sharma tweets that the Redmi 10 Prime may launch alongside the Redmi 10 Smartphone. As for now, the Redmi 10 Prime appears on the IMEI database, hinting that the Redmi 10 series will come to India soon. However, Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime feature identical specs, has only difference in RAM and Storage. Thus, we expect the same from the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Prime models.
As per the tweet of tipster Mukul Sharma, a Xiaomi phone with the model number M21061119BI was on the IMEI database with the Redmi 10 Prime moniker. The alphabet ‘I’ in the model number indicated that it is an Indian variant. The existence of the Indian variant hints that the Redmi 10 Prime will be soon in India. However, there are specifications details about this new Redmi 10 Prime Indian variant. But, we may expect that some features may be the same as Redmi 10 model, and the RAM and storage could be a little higher.
The reports regarding the specifications of Redmi 10 reveal that it may have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ and a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the device may be powered by an Helio G88 chip with LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11. Talking about the camera, the phone will have a 13 Mp front camera. And the rear camera will feature a 50MP primary lens with a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Furthermore, the Redmi 10 has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot.
