Samsung is launching its Snapdragon powered Galaxy S flagship smartphone in India after long time. The company recently brought the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z flip 3 5G in India. These launched flagships were powered by Snapdraon 888 chipset. Moreover, the company also launched Galaxy S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon 865 chipset ealier this year. But other than this, all the recent smartphones were Exynos flagships in Country for a long time. And now, this South Korean electronics Tech giant plans to launch Galaxy S22 with Snapdragon 898 instead of Exynos version in the country. The company plans to launch this Samsung Galaxy S22 5G sometime in January or February 2022.
According to the Korean publication report, Southeast Asia and Indian markets are likely to get Snapdragon chipsets for Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones. Moreover, the report suggests that this Galaxy S22 with Snapdragon chipset will also arrive in Korea, China, and Hong Kong. In addition, the report suggest that the US would be getting the Snapdragon model as usual. The report says that the negotiations are underway between Samsung and Verizon to launch Exynos-powered Galaxy S22 smartphones in the US. Other than this, the Galaxy S22 series in Europe, South America, and other regions are likely to arrive in Exynos version chipset. However, the company still has to make a final decision to give the confirmation.
Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy S22 series would be the new 200MP camera with Olympus branding. Moreover, there are rumors that the upcoming Galaxy S series may offer 120Hz display. The upcoming flagship series from Samsung may power Snapdragon 898 and Exynos 2200 Chipsets, depending on the region.
