Xiaomi confirms the launch of its upcoming premium mid-range 5G smartphone called Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The company teases the official teaser last week. Moreover, the handset may be a new variant of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G announced earlier with Mi 11 Pro and the Mi 11. In addition, Xiaomi is doing away with Mi branding and this Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G is amongst the first offering without the Mi labeling. Xiaomi has now teased the Mi 11 Lite NE’s launch itself.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE’s launch could be on September 15 along with Mi Pad 5 and the Xiaomi 11T. The same is now confirmed by the brand new teaser stating ‘A New Lite is Coming’ at 8 PM GMT (1.30 AM IST) on September 15. Moreover, the teaser only hints at the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G New Edition’s launch. Other models are yet to announce by the company. In addition, the company may stream the launch event live via its official social media handles. However, we are expecting the company to share the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G’s India launch timeline as well in the coming days. There are also leaks suggesting that this device break covers different markets with the Xiaomi CC11 moniker.

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE expected specifications

The recent leaks and rumors suggest various specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. Moreover, the leaks reveal that the device will get power from Snapdragon 778G processor. This one is a major upgrade over the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G which was powered by Snapdragon 780G SoC. In addition, the device could come with up to 12GB RAM and a 256GB storage option. Considering few rumors, the phone will bring a triple rear camera that includes 64MP+8MP+5MP. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
