Google is gearing up to bring the upcoming Pixel 6a and also confirms the Google I/O dates for 2022. Moreover, the company will have its annual developer event on May 11-12 this year. In addition, in the event, there is a new Android 13 features arriving to Pixel device this year. The company will also announce the Pixel 6a as a affordable Pixel smartphone. Furthermore, the Tipster Jon Prosser also shares that the Pixel 6a could arrive at Google I/O 2022 event. But, there is report that the device will be available in some selected markets in July.
Google is all set to launch the upcoming Pixel 6a at the event of I/0 2022 on May 11. Moreover, the company previously brought the Pixel 5a that is predecessor of Google Pixel 6a. In addition, the company will bring the device in some regions from starting July 28 at the I/O 2022. The Google will also show the glimpse of Pixel Watch which will arrive along with the Pixel 7 series in October 2022. However, the company utters no word regarding the launch Pixel 6a in India. And, the company did not brought the Pixel 6 smartphone in India same as Pixel 5a. Furthermore, the Pixel 6a is already surfacing online from past months revealing the features. The device is said to have codename Bluejay and will arrive in White, Black, and Green color options.
Moreover, the device will features 6.2-inch OLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner. Earlier, the device was on Geekbench listing revealing that it will have Tensor chipset. The device Pixel 6a will arrive with 6GB RAM and will run Android 12 out of the box.
