iQOO 8 Series is launching in China on August 17. The brand is expected to include two models that are the standard model and an iQOO 8 Pro. Moreover, it is said that the new upcoming phone will bring significant upgrades over their predecessors, the iQOO 7. However, the company is very much vocal about teasing features about the iQOO 8. The Pro variant will feature a 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it will have 50W wireless charging and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset. Talking about the standard variant, it may have an FHD+ display, 120W fast-charging, and Snapdragon 870 chipset. The brand will continue to have partnerships with BMW Motosport for upcoming devices.
iQOO 8 Series launch date, time and specs
iQOO 8 and 8 Pro is launching in China on 17 August and the event will live-stream on the company’s local website at 5 PM IST (7:30 PM local time). The expected price of the iQOO 8 Pro will be RMB 5,299 that is around Rs 60,700 for the variant 8GB/256GB. However, the price of other models is still a mystery.
Moreover, the iQOO 8 Pro will come with a 2K E5 AMOLED LTPO 10bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This refresh rate will dynamically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz. The device will have a center Punch-hole cutout for the camera and have narrow bezels. The standard variant will feature an FHD+ display and a similar 120Hz AMOLED panel. Furthermore, all models in this series will have 120W fast charging with the Pro variant getting 50W wireless and 10W reverse charging support.
