OnePlus users to use Oppo’s after sales service centers from 1st January 2022

There were rumors way back suggesting that the OnePlus may plan to merge with the tech giant OPPO. And become one brand. Moreover, this rumor start buzzing when there was memo leak hinting that OnePlus will be the sub brand of Oppo. However, the tech giant OPPO drops of about 20% of its workforce after the merger.

With respect to the merger, the OnePlus service announces that OnePlus after sale service of the China will complete its overall business migration from January 1st 2022. And coming to the end, the company will allow users to access after sale service from nearly 1,000, Oppo official service centers. Moreover, the company discloses that the users will use after sale service after overall migration in each month from 16th to 18th date. In addition, both the companies comes under the subsidiaries of BBK Holding. And these two companies will now operate under the Ouga Group as parent company. Alongwith the Realme becoming the third company. Thus, the parent company is looking for sucess and profit with this new merger.

Moreover, now the Oppo Mall will have its new name i.e Ouga Mall. In this users can find Oppo, OnePlus and Realme all three brands together. In addition, As the merger is at the level of operating system, the OnePlus has now adopted the Oppo Color OS. Instead of OxygenOS. Furthermore, there is report that R&D department of both the companies are also merging now. However, there is still different departments, but all the projects will be coordinated by combined team.
