The Redmi K50 is rumored to come with 100W fast charging and IP68 certification. Previously, we get to know that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a Redmi K40/ Mi 11X successor with the moniker Redmi K50. Moreover, there are many leaks surfacing on the Internet about Redmi K50. Let’s have a look at what we can expect from the upcoming Redmi K50.
The Redmi K50 faces a fresh leak from the Digital Chat Station. The latest information suggests that the new Redmi Phone will come with 100W fast charging. Currently, the Redmi K40 is providing a 67W fast charging support. Thus, the Redmi family will have the triple-digit charging speed for the first time. Moreover, earlier this capability was only reserved for some specific higher-end Mi and Black shark devices which can charge at a 120W.
Furthermore, the Redmi K50 will come with another big improvement in the field of IP certification. The Redmi K50 will be IP68 certified with dust and water resistance as compared to its predecessor Redmi K40 which has IP53. Moreover, the Redmi K50 will get symmetrical stereo speakers. This may be designed and placed in such a way that provides a more balanced sound. In addition, the leaks suggest that the device will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The previous leaks also claim that the device will get power from Snapdragon 870 SoC. Now the recent report suggests that the device will arrive in three models. One will come with Snapdragon 898 SoC, the second one with Snapdragon 888, and lastly Snapdragon 870 chipsets.
However, it is not clear that all three models of Redmi K50 will support 100W fast charging. The report says that the Redmi K50 will go on sale in China and then arrive in other markets.
