Samsung is going to launch its next-generation Galaxy S22 series flagship smartphones in January 2022. And the details about the phones are already surfacing online. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will not get Note branding

As per the latest information by @UniverseIce, the top-end model in the Galaxy S-series will be name as Galaxy S22 Ultra and not the Galaxy Note 22 Ultra. Moreover, the phone will come with several Note-series features. But the company is sticking to its branding. Recent renders reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with a body similar to the Galaxy Note 20 with sharp corners on all four sides. In addition, the phone will feature a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED LTPO display with support for QHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz variable refresh rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone will get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset. Or the Exynos 2200 SoC with AMD RDNA2 GPU, depending on the market. It may pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, As for the camera department, it’ll continue to have 108MP primary camera. Along with a 12MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP telephoto cameras. Additionally, the device houses a 5,00mAh battery with support 45W fast charging.
