Vivo is prepping up for the launch of the X70 series in China. The company unveils its flagship phones first in China on September 9. And will launch globally the very next day. Moreover, there are rumors that the X70 Pro Plus will get the latest snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. In between this, the Vivo is working on a phone with the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile flagship processor. A Vivo phone with the model number V2102A visits the Geekbench website with the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC.

Vivo is working on a device with the model number V2102A. The phone on Geekbench features the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC. Moreover, the listing shows that the device will come with 8GB RAM. It also has the Adreno 730 GPU in the device. In addition, it is likely to have the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC with 4nm Octa-Core SoC which has a peak clock speed of 2.42GHz. According to the reports of Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 898 chip has 1*2.42GHz + 3*2.17GHz +1.79GHz clock speeds for various cores.
The upcoming smartphone scores 720 and 1919 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Moreover, the phone runs Android 12 out of the box. The other details of the phone remain a mystery. However, the details of the SD898 Soc were tipped recently. In addition, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 features a four-cluster core layout, in a 1+3+2+ structure. Furthermore, the SoC would feature four efficiency cores with two high-frequency clocks and two low-frequency clocks. It is also expected to feature the ARM X2 core that would be clocked at 3.09Hz.
