HMD Global launches new smartphones from time to time. One of the upcoming smartphones is the Nokia G50 that is all set to launch in the coming weeks. Recently, the Nokia G50 appears on the TENAA certification database spilling the beans on some of the key specs. The latest development is that the smartphone appears on the GeekBench website revealing some information.
Nokia G50 appears on the Geekbench listing
According to the Nokia G50 Geekbench listing, the device will run Android 11 OS out of the box. Moreover, the device gets power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. This chipset is 5G-enabled and the device is believed to be the cheapest smartphone from the company to date. It may have a base frequency of 1.80GHz and will be coupled with 4GB RAM. Considering the previous leaks and reports, the Nokia G50 may launch with 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage via a microSD card. The report also suggests that the device will not have any customizations on top of Android as other Nokia Smartphones in the market.
The previous appearance on TENAA reveals that the phone will arrive in 2GB, 4GB, 6GB. And 8GB RAM variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 512GB storage configurations. Moreover, the device includes a 6.82-inch HD+ display, a 48MP primary camera lens at the rear, and an 8MP selfie shooter. These details do not have any official confirmation from the brand. But the listings and various leaks suggest the presence of these details.
Furthermore, the Nokia G50 may cost $288 that is around Rs. 21,000 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. In addition, the phone was also listed in Australia in the Forest Black variant. However, we need to wait for official confirmations regarding the launch dates and exact prices.
