Motorola is all set to launch its next upcoming smartphone Moto E40. The device was first spotted at Geekbench earlier. Moreover, Evan Blass had revealed key specifications of the device. However, today, Evan Blass has shared quite a few high-quality renders of the upcoming phone that provide hints to different aspects of the phone, including the camera and the fingerprint scanner placement, display’s refresh rate etc.
Moto E40 design renders
The first tweet from Evan is kind of ‘not great, not terrible’ type. But it reveals some details like the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor. In addition, it will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The text is in Polish so, we had to take the help of Google lens, and so we hope that the phone will launch in Europe. As there is mention of an octa-core processor, we can, for now, assume that the earlier rumours regarding Moto E40 coming with Unisoc Tiger T700 SoC could be true.
Moreover, as per the images, the earlier rumours stand true where the claims of a 48-megapixel primary camera, paired with two other lenses were made. In addition, the right edge of the phone seems to house two buttons above and below the volume rockers. So, it’s pretty sure that one of them could be the dedicated Google Assistant button.
Talking about specs, Moto E40 will run Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. The device may get power from Unisoc’s Tiger T700 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The phone may come with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Moreover, the Moto E40 may have an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity, the phone will offer dual SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, alongside a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. There should be a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The device will come with a 4000mAh battery that should provide ample juice, considering that the device comes with an HD+ display.
