Motorola is all set to launch its upcoming smartphone very soon. Its next budget smartphone could be Motorola Moto E40. The report says that the E-series Motorola phone could be out any time as it bagged many certification websites. And now also passes the NBTC certification ahead of launch. However, the NBTC listing does not reveal much about the device, other than the model number and moniker. The listing reveals that the moniker Moto E40 will have model number XT2159-4. Moreover, the same model number was on the FCC listing too ahead of launch revealing few key details.

Moto E40 bags NBTC, FCC, TUV certification websites

Motorola’s upcoming E-series smartphone Moto E40 appears on multiple certification websites ahead of launch. Thus, hinting the launch to be somewhere around the corner. However, the company is yet to announce the official launch date of the E40. But, these listings revealed few key details regarding the device. Moto E40 with the model number XT2159-4 was on the NBTC listing. Other than this, no specifications were revealed by NBTC certification.

Moreover, the FCC listing reveals some key details of the Moto E40. According to the listing, the device will have 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage variant. the device will come with single and dual SIM options. In addition, the other device with the XT2159-5 model number is listed as a Lenovo device. This means that the phone may launch as a rebadged Motorola phone in selected markets. Furthermore, the Motorola smartphone will pack a battery with model number JK50. The TUV listing confirms the battery capacity. The device may house a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support with an adapter. These adapters would have the model numbers- MC-101, MC-102, MC-103, MC-104, MC-105, MC-106, and MC-109. Additionally, the Moto E40 was also on the WiFi Alliance website. This listing reveals that the smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box.
