Multiple Xiaomi Devices drops from Upcoming H2 MIUI 13 open Beta version in China; would include Snapdragon 865 devices and more in list

Xiaomi alongwith bring new devices, it also works on upgrading its previous smartphones. The company plans to upgrade its device that runs on MIUI 13 in the second half of 2022. In addition, the company may bring the updates similar as the features of latest Xiaomi 12 line-up. Moreover, there is recent publication from the company on MIUI Forum in China that they will drop off several devices from MIUI 13 Open Beta Program. Thus, the company will start this program from July 18th this year.

Xiaomi bringing updates in MIUI 13 Open Beta Program in China

The company is ready with its latest updates on mid year devices this year. Moreover, the company reveals the devices that they drop from the MIUI Open Beta Program in China. This program will start from July 18th 2022 onwards where the company drops devices including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. In addition, there is list of devices that is dropped off from H2 MIUI 13 Open Beta. The listing includes Xiaomi CC9 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 youth edition. Alongwith, Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, and Redmi K30 Pro 5G.

Moreover, these devices that drops off, will not have any further Android OS upgrade I.e MIUI 14 based on Android 13. But, these will be eligible for other upgrades i.e MIUI 14 based on Android 12. Furthermore, these devices initially came with MIUI 11 based on Android 10 in early 2020. Additionally, as per the Xiaomi’s history, the company always provide 2 years of Android OS upgrade and 3 years of security updates.
