OnePlus 9 RT is the next major flagship phone from the company in 2021. Since the news came that the OnePlus 9T series is not happening this year. Thus, the brand is working on the OnePlus 9RT launch. As per the report, OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus 9 RT in India and China only. The latest development in this is that the smartphone is spotted on the Indian BIS website hinting at its imminent launch.
OnePlus MT2111 appears on the BIS website
Tipster Mukul Sharma spotted a new OnePlus phone on the Indian BIS website. He tweeted that the model number MT2111 was on the listing and it could be the OnePlus 9RT. Moreover, the 21 in the model number usually refers to the year of launch, thus the launch might be in 2021. The OnePlus 9RT is the only new OnePlus phone that the company has more phones in the pipeline.
Talking about the smartphone’s offerings, the OnePlus 9RT will be somewhat similar to the OnePlus 9 R. The phone will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will draw power from Snapdragon 870 chipset similar to its predecessor. Moreover, as per the reports, the upcoming OnePlus phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor that was seen on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord 2. The OnePlus 9RT will ship with Android 12 based- Oxygen OS 12. Furthermore, the phone will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will house a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The OnePlus 9 RT price is said to start from CNY 2999 that is around Rs 34000.
