Realme recently launched the GT 5G flagship phone, GT Master Edition, and Realme Book slim laptop in India on Wednesday. It was one of the most important events for Realme as it marks the company’s foray into this year’s premium market. The laptop is one of the few categories that Realme is trying to expand into these coming years. Under its Realme TechLife brand, the company is focusing on products that make for a robust ecosystem. Thus, soon Washing machines will also be part of this brand.
Madhav Sheth, Realme India, and Europe CEO confirm that the company will soon launch ‘Washing machine and other white goods’ under the Realme TechLife brand. This is going to be a new product category for Realme, which now wants to take on brands such as Samsung and LG. Realme said that the washing machine will be coming this Diwali. Earlier in the report, Madhav Sheth said that Realme wants to create an ecosystem where it wants to enter every product category. Realme has already launched products such as a beard trimmer, a hairdryer, and a robotic vacuum cleaner. While the first product is available in India, the robotic vacuum cleaner will arrive before Diwali. Now that at least two products from Realme are likely to come around Diwali, the company may be gearing up for the big reveal of its huge AIoT line in India.
Moreover, the features and specs are not yet out at this moment. But, Madhav Sheth hints an outline of the product that it is a front-load washing machine. However, front-load machines usually have premium prices. But, as Realme is launching for the first time, the price may be a little aggressive. We expect that the company will offer an affordable Washing machine this Diwali.
