Xiaomi has been quietly increasing the price of its budget smartphones in India. The company recently gave the Redmi Note 10 4GB RAM variant its fourth hike since its launch in March. Moreover, the device, which was launched for Rs 11,999 in India is now available for Rs 13,999. It is not only a Redmi smartphone in India to get a price hike. Xiaomi has been quietly increasing the prices of the Note 10 Pro models. It looks like the entry-level and more budget phones from Redmi have got a price bump now. Tipster Abhishek Yadav gave the list of smartphones in his recent tweet.
Redmi Price hikes from September 2
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T is Redmi’s budget 5G smartphone launched in India for Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB+ 64GB RAM variant. And now the device is currently on mi.com at Rs 14,499. The 6GB RAM variant also receives a Rs 1000 price bump. Moreover, the Redmi Note 10s 6GB + 128GB variant launched with MediaTek Helio G95 SoC at Rs 15,999 receives a 500 price bump. It is now available at Rs. 16499 in India. Xiaomi continues to sell the 6GB+64GB for Rs 14,999 on its online mi store.
Talking about the price hike in Redmi 9 Power, the device was launched in India for Rs 10,999. And now, it receives a Rs 500 price bump as well. The device is now available on Mi India’s website for Rs 11,499. Whereas the 4GB + 128GB model continues to retail for Rs 11,999. And the 6GB + 128GB variant is available for Rs 13,4999, as opposed to its Rs 12,999 launch price. Two smartphones under Rs 10,000 from Redmi, the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9i also receive a price hike. Moreover, Redmi 9 which was for Rs 8,999 is now available for Rs 9,499 for 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The price of the 4GB+ 128GB variant of this device remains unchanged. Furthermore, there has been one more Redmi phone with a price hike. The Redmi 9i was launched for Rs 8299 which is now available for Rs 8799 for the base 4GB + 64GB model. There is also a 4GB + 128GB model available for a Rs 9299 launch price.
