Samsung may launch its new Samsung Galaxy S22 in the first quarter of 2022. There are many rumors about the phone running on either Snapdragon 898 processor or a flagship Exynos chipset. Moreover, in the latest development, the Samsung Galaxy S22 appears on the Geekbench website. The listing has the model number SM-S901U. The U in the number stands for the Us variant. In addition, the listing reveals key specifications of the device including the chipset, RAM, and Android software.
Samsung Galaxy S22 was spotted on the Geekbench listing hinting launch to be around the corners. The listing reveals that the device will feature a Qualcomm chipset with the Taro codename. Moreover, it is said that the Snapdragon 895 chipset, which may be the successor of the Snapdragon 888. In addition, it is said to be based on the 4nm process and will be manufactured by Samsung itself.
The listing further reveals that the chipset has the Adreno 730 GPU. The variant on Geekbench has 8GBRAM and may come up to a 12GB RAM option at the time of launch. Moreover, the phone will run the latest Android 12 software out of the box. Furthermore, we speculate that the phone will have Snapdragon 895 and not Snapdragon 898. This is because the Geekbench scores are low as compared to the Snapdragon 898-powered Vivo phone that appeared on Geekbench recently. However, it is also possible that the SD898 and SD895 are the same processors. This is all we got for Samsung Galaxy S22 and expect to learn more in the coming months.
