Possible Samsung Galaxy S22+ appears on Geekbench; may come with AMD-powered Exynos 2200 SoC

Samsung is prepping up for the Galaxy S21 FE launch in October in International markets. We may expect the device to launch later this year in India. Moreover, after this Galaxy S21 FE launch, the company is all set to bring its next premium smartphone Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The next-generation flagship phone may debut in January or February 2022. However, ahead of launch, this upcoming smartphone’s details were leaked online. And now, the Galaxy S22 series appears on the Geekbench listing that may feature the upcoming Exynos 2200 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series could debut in January or February 2022. Ahead of the launch, a Galaxy S22+ appears on the Geekbench listing. Moreover, the listing reveals that the phone has the model number SM-S906B. The listing however does not explains that the device is a Galaxy S22+ series. But, the reports suggest that one of the models will have the SM-S906B model number.

The listing further reveals that the device has a processor with model number s5e9925, which is Exynos 2200. Samsung’s upcoming processor with AMD will debut in the Galaxy S22 series. Moreover, the listing reveals that the device has a peak CPU clock speed of 2.59GHz. The other three performance cores have a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz, whereas the four efficiency cores have a 1.73GHz clock speed. In addition, the processor is coupled with AMD’s RDNA2-based Mobile Radeon GPU and an integrated 5G modern. Recently, it was tipped that this new SoC will perform better than the Apple A14 Bionic on Geekbench.

Furthermore, the device will run Android 12 out of the box with a layer of One UI 4.0 on top. The variant listed on Geekbench has 8GB RAM and may bring a higher RAM option at the time of launch.
