Realme confirms the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2 after weeks of leaks and reports. The company officially reveals that the phone will launch in China on September 22. Moreover, during the launch event, the brand will announce the Realme GT Neo 2 price and availability details. However, we may expect the new Realme phone to launch in India at some point, perhaps rebranded as the Realme X9 Max. Previously, the original Realme GT Neo arrived in India as the Realme X7 Max.
Realme GT Neo launching on 22nd September
Realme GT Neo 2 is set to launch in China on Wednesday. September 22nd at 2 PM local time i.e 11:30 AM IST. Moreover, the launch date teaser confirms the name and teases the device as well. The poster reveals a sleek-looking phone with curved edges.
Talking about specifications, the Realme GT Neo 2 offerings are already on the Internet for weeks. The device features a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, The Realme GT Neo 2 will get power from the Snapdragon 870 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In addition, the smartphone will run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.
Talking about Camera specs, the Realme GT Neo 2 will have a 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. As for the front, the phone has a 16MP camera for selfies. In addition, the phone houses a 5000 mAh battery with either 50W or 65W fast charging. These are expected specifications, however, the company will announce the full specifications at the launch event on 22 September.
