Vivo just unveiled the X70 series smartphones in China with the main USP being the camera, And now, there is news suggesting that the company will soon launch the X70 phones in several other markets other than China. These markets include India, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Thailand. However, the launch dates are unknown for these countries except for the Malaysian market.
Vivo X70 series to release in Malaysia this month
Vivo reveals that the Vivo 70 series will release in Malaysia on September 22. The entire series including the Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro Plus will land on the Malaysian market. However, some specs may differ in comparison to Chinese editions. Especially, the X70 Pro model has differences from the Chines one.
The Vivo X70 Pro Chinese edition came with Exynos 1080 SoC. But, the device in other markets may launch with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Moreover, the device will run on FunTouch OS based on Android 11 instead of the Origin OS seen on the Chinese edition.
Furthermore, the Vanilla X70 model and the X70 Pro plus may have the same specs as the Chinese editions. The Vio X70 Pro+ will get power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. Whereas, the X70 will have the same Dimensity 1200 SoC. Moving forward, the devices will come with a 120Hz refresh rate screen and multiple cameras at the rear. Additionally, the Pro Plus will come with Vivo’s V1 Chip with ZEISS Optics support. The devices will get launch in the country as well along with the other markets. We expect the brand to announce the launch dates soon.
